Turn engagement into a conversation.

Use attention as a follow-up signal, not as proof of investment intent.

Separate signals from conclusions

An open or deck visit can tell you that a link was requested. It cannot tell you what someone thinks. Email privacy tools can also generate opens. Combine platform activity with replies, questions, and explicit next steps.

Respond with relevant context

If a conversation is already active, use a short follow-up that answers the last question or supplies new evidence. Avoid messages that make someone feel watched. Make the next step easy to accept or decline.

Keep the pipeline grounded

Record the current relationship stage and the next action. A direct pass or a request to stay updated is more meaningful than repeated page views. Keep your records aligned with what the investor has actually said.

Be clear about shared links

A verified shared-link reader has demonstrated access to an email inbox, not who forwarded a message. TenX can record verified reads when tracking is enabled; ordinary email forwarding is not identifiable. Respect the consent and access settings chosen for the update.
